Formatize brings ideas to life by using 3D printing to produce functional products and prototypes. It was started in 2013 by Brent Ismay, who has had an interest in 3D printing and CNC machines in general since he started his career as a freelance industrial designer.
Product development requires skill, time and most importantly a large financial investment. The aim of Formatize is to make 3D printing more accessible to prototype ideas and even create small production runs.
This has been made possible by using a small desktop 3D printer which can produce good quality parts and uses durable plastic.
Formatize is about the act of creating and 3D printing will allow consumers to experience custom and unique products, made by creative and innovative people.
